Jody Mathie, MD

Originally from North Canton, Ohio, Jody moved to Colorado in 1981 following graduation from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine.  She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Colorado and Children's Hospital, and then founded Cherry Creek Pediatrics in 1985, starting as a solo practitioner.  She is an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics (University of Colorado Anschutz Campus) and remains an active staff member at Children's Hospital Colorado, where she served on its Board of Directors for 11 years.  Jody served as Medical Staff President of Children’s Hospital from 2000-2002, and currently is Co-chair of the hospital's Quality and Patient Safety Committee.  She was presented with the Career Teaching Scholar Award in 2011.  She is actively involved in hospital fundraising, and participates each year in the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour, as a team captain.  Her interests also include serving on the Boards of There With Care, and the Colorado Children’s Chorale, and on her alma mater Grove City College's Board of Trustees, in Pennsylvania.  Outside interests include photography, piano, gardening, and biking.

Matt Dorighi, MD

Matt has been a pediatrician at Cherry Creek Pediatrics since 2000.  He completed an engineering undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder and attended medical school at St. Louis University.  He completed a residency in Pediatrics at The University of Colorado School of Medicine and has served two terms as a medical staff board member at Children's Hospital Colorado.  He has an interest in supporting children with academic difficulties and has been a Board Member at The Havern School since 2006.  He is an active member of the Colorado Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and recently received Colorado's CDC Childhood Immunization Champion Award for his efforts promoting access to childhood immunizations. Matt is married to Sydnee and they enjoy Colorado adventures with their three children Brennen, Carter, and Molly.

Jasper Hillhouse, MD

Dr. Hillhouse completed his undergraduate studies at Colorado State University.  He then went on to teach math and science within the Denver Public School District.  While teaching, he became interested in medicine and decided to transition to a career as a physician.  Dr. Hillhouse attended medical school at Eastern Virginia Medical School where he was awarded the Holmes Gillette Memorial Award, given to the “graduating medical student who is considered to epitomize the ideals of Eastern Virginia Medical School”.  He returned to Colorado to complete his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado and joined Cherry Creek Pediatrics upon graduation.  Dr. Hillhouse has a particular interest in education and is active in the Colorado Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  Outside of work, Dr. Hillhouse enjoys spending time in the outdoors with his wife, Joanna and their twins, Bram and Isadora.

Ali Russell, MD

Ali is originally from North Carolina, and she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for both her undergraduate and medical degrees.  Ali moved to Denver in 2016 to complete her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado. As a primary care pediatrician, she enjoys supporting parents and caregivers through the ever-changing intricacies of raising children. She also takes pride in caring for children with complicated medical, developmental or behavioral diagnoses, and she places special attention on helping families learn to advocate for each of their children's unique needs. She enjoys all of the activities that Denver’s amazing location offers, especially skiing under Colorado blue skies.

Lynn Andrews, MD

Lynn came to CCP in 1995 after attending UCLA and Tulane.  Lynn completed her pediatric residency at Northwestern University in Chicago, where she also worked in an emergency department.  She and her husband have two children, Caroline and Andrew.


Sarah Albert, MD

Sarah grew up in Washington, DC. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Haverford College in Pennsylvania, completed medical school at George Washington University in Washington, DC, and did her residency at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She remained in Chicago and practiced in a general Pediatric practice in the Chicago area for 8 years prior to relocating to Denver to be closer to her husband’s family. Her special interest in Pediatrics is adoption. Sarah, her husband and their three kids are enjoying all that Denver and Colorado has to offer.


Amy Pierce, MD

Dr. Pierce joined Cherry Creek Pediatrics in 2012.  Originally from Texas, Amy completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Texas and medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She moved to Denver to attend her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital Colorado.  She enjoys caring for and being a part of her growing patient families at Cherry Creek Pediatrics. Outside of medicine, she enjoys cooking, reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband, daughters, and dog.


Mandy Hyatt, MD

Dr. Hyatt is a native of Colorado and began working at Cherry Creek Pediatrics in 2013. Mandy was raised in Evergreen, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology. She completed medical school and residency at Saint Louis University. Following graduation, Mandy returned to Colorado. Outside of the office, Mandy enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She also enjoys playing with her dogs, reading, hiking, and camping


Ashley DeHudy, MD MPH

Dr. DeHudy is thrilled to join the Cherry Creek Peds Community! Ashley recently moved to Denver from Ann Arbor, MI, where she studied at the University of Michigan and earned degrees in environmental health and medicine. After graduation from pediatrics residency in 2016, she was appointed the Pediatric Environmental Health Lead of the General Pediatrics Division at the University of Michigan. For the next three years, she had the privilege of collaborating with medical students, residents, and families to ensure the health and wellness of children in the Ann Arbor community. Since moving to Denver with her family, Ashley has loved spending weekends in the mountains hiking, skiing, and introducing their young family to the wonders of nature. An absolute "outdoor" person, Ashley loves gardening, running, and enjoying those blue Colorado skies!

Hannah Kay, MD

Please join us in welcoming Hannah Kay, MD to our practice.

Hannah was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and attended the University of Texas at Austin for both her undergraduate and medical degrees. Hannah and her husband, Will, moved to Denver in 2020 to complete her pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Colorado. She recently completed her training in June of 2023. During her training she spent time at Cherry Creek Pediatrics for her primary care education, and she is thrilled to be joining the clinic as a pediatrician.

Hannah has been eager to be a primary care physician since medical school. As a primary care pediatrician, she enjoys getting to know families and supporting them as their children grow and reach new milestones. Her goal is for children to have a good foundation for a healthy and happy life into adulthood. She loves to take care of pediatric patients of all ages, from preemies to adolescents.

She and her husband enjoyed life in Denver so much during residency that they have decided to call Denver home. She loves to ski, hike and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer!

Laura Forest, PA-C

Laura went to Colorado College before attending the Physician Assistant program at Baylor College of Medicine.  She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant.  Before joining CCP in 1993, Laura worked in outpatient pediatrics and a newborn nursery, both in Houston TX.  She and her husband stay busy with their four children.


Rachel Schmela, CPNP

Rachel graduated from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center with her Clinical Doctorate of Nursing Practice and Masters of Science specializing in pediatric health. Rachel’s undergraduate degree is from CSU in Human Development and Family Studies. Prior to joining Cherry Creek Pediatrics, Rachel worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's hospital in Denver. Rachel is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Credentialing Board. Rachel and her husband stay busy raising their daughter and son.

Stacey Macfarlane, CPNP

Stacey joined Cherry Creek Pediatrics in 2009. She moved to Denver after graduating from the University of Michigan with her Masters of Science specializing in pediatrics and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Prior to graduate school she worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Chicago Hospital in the pediatric intensive care unit and at Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan Health System in the children's cardiology unit. Stacey's clinical interests include newborn care, childhood growth and development, pediatric acute care, and adolescent health. Stacey along with her husband, enjoy the wonderful adventures in parenting their daughters. She also enjoys finding adventures in the mountains by mountain biking, trail running, skiing, and hiking.

Tara Peterson, CPNP, PMHS

Tara is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who completed her Master of Nursing at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Prior to graduate school, she attended Fordham University in the Bronx, New York, where she majored in General Science.  Before joining Cherry Creek Pediatrics, she worked at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  In her free time, she enjoys being at the lake with her husband, golfing, reading and traveling.

Kirstin Bergstrom, PA-C

Kirstin received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado’s Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program. She grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology from the University of Georgia. In her free time, she enjoys running, skiing, and hiking in the mountains. 


Hadley Brown, CPNP

Hadley is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who joined Cherry Creek Pediatrics in 2022. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland and received both her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor's Degree in Public Health from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to joining Cherry Creek Pediatrics, she worked at The Eating Recovery Center here in Denver. Hadley enjoys spending time in the mountains, skiing and hiking! 

Audra Lilly, CPNP

Audra

Audra is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who joined Cherry Creek Pediatrics in 2022. Originally from Texas, she moved to Colorado in 2017. Audra graduated with her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Prior to joining Cherry Creek Pediatrics she worked at Children's Hospital of Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephews, hiking, camping, trail running and Texas Tech football. She is excited to be a part of the practice and looks forward to meeting the families.
