Kat Hilburn, RN, BSN, IBCLC
Kat received her BSN from CU Health Sciences Center and has been a Registered Nurse for almost 20 years. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). “Having a newborn is a beautiful gift, but can be exhausting both physically and emotionally. Breastfeeding does not always come as easily as we would hope and mothers might meet other hurdles along the way. My desire is to help mothers and their partners work toward their individual breast-feeding goals in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Lactation support goes beyond just breast feeding, and my hope is to empower mothers and families along their journey”.
